Item Description

This is a classic Clay Center specimen with the Fluorite crystals exhibiting a rich cognac color and outstanding luster and gemminess. From major finds starting a few years ago, this was probably near the last piece Charlie added for this collection before selling it to us. It is a superb display quality: The largest Fluorite crystal is 3.3 cm across, and the cubes show a clear, striking color zoning. Small contact on the right side of the crystal detracts a little, but not a lot. For added flavor there are a few lustrous and colorless Celestine blades embedded in the large cube, as well as a 1 cm Calcite crystal sitting smack on front like a bug on a rock. A superb example for the size. This is also highly fluorescent a ghostly white color under UV light. Valued $750.
