Item Description
A classic and aesthetic combination specimen from the famous Elmwood Mine. A 1.8 x 1.5 x 1.5 cm, lustrous, translucent, fluorite cube is aesthetically perched atop a mounded matrix of splendent, partially gemmy, rubyjack sphalerite crystals. Additional fluorite cubes and four, small calcites (two are DT) are super compliments. The fluorites have intense, stepped-growth faces, giving a flashy, scintiallating look and classic, darker purple, edge phantoms. A very fine and pristine, older combination specimen from this noted locale, with top-flight gemmy sphalerites. Valued $500-600. This 360-degree, mounded piece displays very well from several orientations. One of the finest small cabs we have offered at auction. MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!
