Item Description
The Okorusu Mine is one of the most classic and well known localities in the world for Fluorite. Nearly every shade of Fluorite known (from colorless to black) is found at Okorusu, and the quality of the crystals only adds to their allure. This beautiful miniature display specimen features dozens of good quality, sharp, gemmy cubic crystals measuring up to 7 mm which feature soft purple and green hues. Many of the crystals are WATER CLEAR and look beautiful with some backlighting. No real matrix to speak of, but the piece is still quite showy and three-dimensional. This is a great display specimen, and one of the more attractive pieces for overall appeal, quality and visual impact that I have offered in the auctions recently.
