This attractivemound of intergrown Fluorite crystals originates from the Okorusu Mine in Namibia. Overall, it exhibits multi-hued colors of yellow at the interior and a rich purple at the exterior. Individual crystals are color zoned with the cube corners and squares on the faces being purple and upon close examination, the corners reveal purple "steps". The purple then sharply transitions to a yellow interior on all of the Fluorite crystals. This zoning results in great geometric internal phantoms. The Fluorite cubes reach 1.8 cm across at maximum and all of them are transparent to translucent and exhibit great luster. If one looks at the back, it shows that the Fluorite grew on a substrate of something else that was dissolve and left a cast so there is no contacting. The lack of damage also highlights this specimen from the crowd of inferior Okorusu Fluorites out there. Old material, seldom seen in this quality today.
