Aesthetic and rich, this well-balanced cluster of Fluorite cubes on limestone matrix is from the long-closed limestone quarry near Bergheim. The lilac Fluorites, which range up to 6 mm on edge, are gemmy to translucent with lightly frosted faces. Many of the crystals have a distinct purple phantom, as well as a purple coloration near the edge that enhances the visual interest. Classic and excellent for this locality, this old-time small cab was #10,791 in Kay's collection.
