Item Description
A wonderful example of the classic sharp, gemmy, interpenetrant twins (on a cube-diagonal twinning axis) - as often seen from this locality. This form is what makes these specimens so desirable from the English lead mines at Weardale. These are modern classics and really beautiful Fluorites on a worldwide scale. Good color ranging from beautiful "Rogerley green" indoors to the classic purple daylight fluorescence in sunlight. You can also see a golden color at the core as well, which is not terribly common. The piece shows the classic bright purple UV fluorescence that is often seen in Rogerley Fluorites.
