Fluorite

Item Description

Richly colored, sharp, octahedral crystals of Fluorite from the De'an Mine in China. The crystals range in color from rich emerald green in the center to a strong purple hue on the edges, with smooth, distinct faces. The largest crystal measures 2.4 cm across. When backlit, one can see the coloration of the crystals much better. The matrix is composed of an etched "slab" of white Quartz. It's a wonderful small cabinet specimen that I'm sure will end being a good bargain for one bidder. Very little damage, as you can see from the photos, and it shows well from the display side. Priced at $500.
