Item Description

A group of sharp, gemmy, interpenetrant twins (on a cube-diagonal twinning axis) - as often seen from this locality. This form is what makes these specimens so desirable from the English lead mines at Weardale. These are modern classics and really beautiful Fluorites on a worldwide scale. Good color ranging from beautiful "Rogerley green" indoors to the classic purple daylight fluorescence in sunlight. The piece shows the classic bright purple UV fluorescence that is often seen in Rogerley Fluorites. The largest crystal measures 1.5 cm.
