Item Description
Many sharp, gemmy, beautiful green color interpenetrant twins (on a cube-diagonal twinning axis) - as often seen from this locality - sitting on matrix. This form is what makes these specimens so desirable from the English lead mines at Weardale. These are modern classics and really beautiful Fluorites on a worldwide scale. Good color ranging from beautiful blue-green indoors to the classic purple hue in sunlight. The piece shows the classic bright purple UV fluorescence that is often seen in Rogerley Fluorites. Good aesthetics, only minor roughness, and the largest crystal measures 1.6 cm.
