Fluorite

Item Description

A lovely golden yellow crystal group of rather gemmy and lustrous cubic Fluorite with crystals measuring up to 6 mm on edge. The crystals are so gemmy and they were difficult to photograph, and honestly the piece looks better in person. The back of the piece is covered with translucent off-white color scalenohedra of Calcite measuring up to 1.7 cm. Associated "saddle"-shaped crystals of Dolomite can be seen sprinkled throughout. A very worthwhile and attractive Fluorite specimen from this well known Fluorite producing district.
