Fluorite

This is a FINE quality, gemmy group of sharp, lustrous cubic Fluorite from the classic Annabel Lee Mine. The Fluorites have a slight "phantoming" with mostly yellow coloration and and beautiful blue edges. Minor accenting reddish-black Sphalerite can be seen near the base, plus very gemmy colorless scalenohedral Calcite sits on top. The largest Fluorite measures 2.4 cm on edge. Hard to photograph, but we did our best, and it really does look better in person. The piece was originally priced at $695 by the previous dealer, but certainly worth more in my mind with the ever increasing value of southern Illinois material.
