Fluorite

Item Description

Fluorite has been a staple for Chinese mineral localities for over 15 years, and the wide variety of habits and colors from the various ore bodies in Hunan Province are notable to say the least. This specimen is a lovely green group of "stacked" cubic crystals with minor octahedral modifications. The crystals have excellent internal gemminess, sharp faces and good luster. The piece is in great shape on the display side, and it's even recrystallized on the back. The outer periphery is obviously contacted, but the piece is still a great overall representation from this well known mine.
