Fluorite

Item Description

A great cabinet display specimen featuring rich golden yellow cubes of rather lustrous and gemmy Fluorite. The largest crystal measures 2.8 cm on edge. There is a bit of edge wear and some cleaved cystals here and there, but this is a rare locality specimen from this famous specimen producing district. A great piece to add to a suite of southern Illinois minerals not only because of the oddball locale, but the fact that it's big, showy and good quality overall.
