Fluorite is found in every color of the rainbow, but arguably the most desirable hue is pink / red. The mining at the Huanggang Mine has given collectors some really attractive pink Fluorites that rival good pink Fluorites from Pakistan, Peru, or Switerland. This particular piece is a nice little octahedron with sharp faces, good color, gemminess and overall attractiveness. It's nearly a floater, were it not for a small contact on the back. Still a nice little representation of this hard to find material.
