Item Description
Fluorites from the Blanchard mine are about as classic as minerals from the southwestern U.S. get. This piece features many gem/gemmy cubic Fluorite crystals which show a beautiful blue and purple color which shows up well in all kinds of light and are sitting on stubby milky Quartz matrix. Collecting at this locality is not easy, and typically the Fluorite specimens are not 100% damage free. This piece has some minor damage, but still worthwhile. The largest Fluorite cube measures 1.1 cm. Overall, it is an attractive and colorful small cabinet of this well known material from this great mine in New Mexico.
