Item Description
A richly colored, sharp, very gemmy, octahedral crystal group of Fluorite on fluorite from the De'an Mine in China. Dozens of crystals which range in color from rich emerald green to a royal purple hue, with smooth, distinct faces. The largest crystal measures 2.4 cm across. When backlit, one can see the coloration of the crystals much better. The matrix is etched Quartz, as most specimens from this mine, as the Quartz has to be etched away to see the underlying Fluorite. Good shape overall, with very little damage to speak of. A wonderful bigger decorator piece! Valued at $1100. Please note that due to the larger size, there will be an additional shipping charge for this specimen.
