Fascinating and most unusual gemmy Fluorite crystal from Hoenfeld in the famous Erongo Mountains. This 'mushroom' clearly shows six growth stages as the solution chemistry changed each time, creating very distinct and attractive color zones. The zoning goes green-light purple-dark purple-light purple-green-clear, and its looks are quite engaging and interesting. To top it off, literally, the mushroom termination is composed of about three complex, gemmy, and modified cuboctahedrons. Quite the aesthetic and interesting large thumbnail or small miniature.
