Fluorite

Highly unusual, and quite engaging, deep reddish-purple Fluorites from Erongo. The Fluorites are modified dodecahedrons, all flattened to some degree, and several having beveled edges that range from paper-thin to over .15 cm wide. Pretty cool in its variablity. The largest Fluorite is 3 cm wide, and the luster ranges from very good to matte, depending on the crystal and the face. The richness of the color is beautiful when looked at under proper light (strongly backlit). I have not seen an Erongo Fluorite quite like this - and it is excellent in its own right.
