Fluorite

A really attractive and unique Fluorite specimen showing a really unique yellow-orange color, with amazing gemminess when backlit. The piece is essentially a slab or plate of tightly intergrown cubic crystals, but please note that it does have a saw mark on the back. The internal color is captivating, and really makes one think of something other than a mineral when you hold it up to the light. Unusual for sure, and a worthwhile piece to add to a Fluorite suite. China never seems to run out of interesting and unusual specimens, even when it comes to common species like Fluorite. I was told that the locality producing these specimens may be finished, so don't miss out on this one as there may not be many more availabe in coming months.
