Item Description
Aesthetic multi-generational fluorite on quartz on this sculptural large combination from the famous De'an Mine. An impressive, centrally placed, large, translucent green octahedron, 6.1 cm across, with frosted faces dominates the piece. The preferential coatings of the frosted, stepped-growth lavender fluorite cubes and the beautiful field of smaller, translucent, mint-green octos aesthetically set on the contrasting etched quartz field are fine complements to this artistic and colorful large fluorite and quartz combination. These specimens are etched out of the enclosing quartz. Purple fluorescence. Ex Chet Lemanski Collection and acquired in 2003. An outstanding, aesthetic, large and very uncommon example of this fluorite combination from the locale.
