Auglaize Quarry fluorites are a desirable US classic and this is an outstanding example with three generations of fluorite. Gorgeous, gem, violet cubes to 7 mm lie next to fabulous, iridescent, golden-bronze cubes in the sculptural vug. The earliest generation of fluorite filled the voids around the striking, partially brecciated, limestone matrix. Strikingly, the three types of fluorite have three colors of fluorescence! The color variations and brecciated limestone really add character. This is the finest Auglaize Quarry fluorite we have offered at auction.
