Item Description
A fine, sharp, VERY gemmy, interpenetrant twin on a cube-diagonal twinning axis (as often seen from this locality). This form is what makes these specimens so desirable from the English lead mines at Weardale. Good color ranging from beautiful blue-green to a light lavender shade in the middle. The piece shows the classic purple fluorescence that is often seen in Rogerley Fluorites.
