Item Description
Despite the fact that there are only a handful of minerals found at the Elmwood mine, they are among the most recognizable minerals in the world. The classic purple Fluorites are a favorite among collectors, and it's easy to see why. This piece features a sharp, translucent, beautiful purple color, "phantom" cubic crystal of Fluorite. A good representative display specimen of this well knonw material. The cube is actually slightly yellow in the center, which is not common for the material, and is a nice touch. This piece is close to 30 years old, and is a worthwhile display piece especially coming from this prominent and celebrated zinc ore body!
