Fluorite

Item Description

These are some of the most distinctive and unique Chinese fluorite specimens that we have seen. This is a fine cabinet specimen from 2006 finds in Henan Province, China. Intergrown, sharp fluorite cubes in strange, intergrown knobs on a matrix which is partially purple fluorite comprise this unusual piece. The translucent fluorites are brown to yellow, when front-lit, but glow golden-amber when back-lit.
