Item Description

Here we have a wonderful specimen from the 2017 discovery at Koh-i-Maran. Our good friend in Pakistan was able to get their hands on these interesting and attractive specimens which are actually found in the same area where the now famous Brookite and Anatase specimens are being found. We've never seen Fluorites quite like this from Pakistan in terms of habit and the really unusual colors. This small cabinet display specimen features an intergrown cluster of sharp, translucent, cubes which show a color shift from a soft blue in sunlight to more of a lavender tone in indoor lighting. The most interesting aspect of the piece is the fact that there is a rarely seen "smoky" hue at the core of the piece, which gives the entire specimen an alluring overtone. It's in great shape on the display side, but it's not complete on the back where it was removed from the pocket wall. Originally priced at $600 in the inventory. This is a must have for any Fluorite collector as the rare locality and unusual color combination makes it a great fit for anybody who loves this diverse species.
