Rich secondary overgrowths of variable purplish-gray, frosted, stepped-growth cuboctahedrons cover this exotic and colorful large two-generation fluorite from a small 2016 find at a very obscure locality in Zhejiang Province, China. Rich emerald-green, gemmy, gorgeous fluorite octahedrons, to 2.5 cm on edge, cover the colorful, sculptural mounded matrix plate. The octos remind me of outstanding emerald-green fluorites from Riemasvaak, South Africa. The emerald-green hue is even richer on this fine piece and the octos glow, when back lit. Rich purple fluorescence. The bit of noted periphery wear on on end is certainly only a modest detraction. A fine large rich plate from the limited find. This impressive large combination has several fine display views.
