Gorgeous, rich emerald-green, gemmy and lustrous, fluorite octahedrons, to 4.0 cm, on edge richly cover this impressive and colorful large well-prepared plate from a small 2016 find at a very obscure locality in Zhejiang Province, China. The octos are dramatically and preferentially coated with scattered secondary overgrowths of tiny purplish-gray, frosted, stepped-growth fluorite cuboctahedrons and cubes. The fluorites rest on the nubby drusy quartz matrix. This is a striking, richly colored and sculptural large combination fluorite from the find. The octos remind me of outstanding emerald-green fluorites from Riemasvaak, South Africa. The emerald-green hue is even richer on this amazing piece. They octos GLOW, when backlit. Rich purple fluorescence. Bruising is noted on one side, but this remains very showy, highly representative large example of the species and find.
