Gemmy, gorgeous rich emerald-green fluorite octahedrons, to 2.8 cm on edge, cover the colorful, sculptural large matrix plate. This exotic and colorful two-generation fluorite is from a small 2016 find at a very obscure locality in Zhejiang Province, China. Scattered secondary overgrowths of clusters of purplish-gray, frosted, stepped-growth cuboctahedrons add contrast. Some of the green octos have striking phantoms adding pizzazz. The octos remind me of outstanding emerald-green fluorites from Riemasvaak, South Africa. The emerald-green hue is even richer on this fine piece and the octos glow, when back lit. Rich purple fluorescence. A fine large rich plate from the limited find with several display views.
