Item Description
Two generations of strikingly different fluorite crystals are dramatically clustered and scattered on the large nubby drusy quartz matrix plate on this most unusual fluorite from recent finds at this now famous, remote mine. Sharp, transparent to translucent, mottled purplish-orangy-brown octahedrons, to 2.5 cm, have frosted faces. Some are doubly terminated. Translucent, grass-green fluorite CUBES with frosted faces partially overgrow or are attached to the earlier fluorite octos, with impressive, colorful effect. Pristine. An outstanding and highly unusual large fluorite. ONLY the green fluorite has moderate purple fluorescence. Valued $500-600 for totally unusual character.
