A lesser seen style of Fluorite from the Xianghualing Mine featuring blue-green colored GEMMY octahedral crystals of Flourite measuring up to 3.8 cm sitting atop a previous layer of cuboctahedral green Fluorite on host rock matrix. The Fluorites have a sparkly, drusy luster, but they are virtually water clear when backlit. You can actually see through the large octahedral crystals to the previous generation of crystals underneath. Most of the crystals are in great shape, though it's not complete around the periphery where it was removed from the pocket wall. If you collect Fluorites or minerals from Xianghualing, don't miss out on this one as few of this type were found. Priced at $1,750 in the inventory. Ex Dr. Stephen Smale Collection.
