Some fluorites are subtle, and some just leap out at you in person - this is one such. A very sharp, unusually gemmy and glassy fluorite from the famous mines of Spain, this is an antique style and color combination we seldom see. Sold by Spanish expert Jordi Fabre some years ago, his label also stated this is from a 1985 find. Each year and style was identifiable, to those who know. This pocket has unusual yellow phantoms and also the traditional purple phantoms within - though hard to see in the photos as the camera has trouble focusing within. The specimen has razor sharp crystals to 4.5 cm across, stunning luster, glassy clarity, and some interesting phantoms within! It is large, showy, and sparkling - with a bright luster more than most from here. This specimen comes with a custom made lucite base, and is from the fluorite suite of the Sam Cooper collection. Valued $4000-5000. So much more impactful in person, than a video can say.
