Fluorite

Item Description

Excellent, and very unusual, Fluorite specimen from the famous Erongo Mountains. This pair of intergrown crystals are sharp cubes rather than the modified cubes you often see from here. The largest is 2 cm on edge. Another special characteristic of these crystals, in addtion to the bright silky luster, is the very distinct zoning that is so visible. The majority of the crystals is a light, mint green color, and there is a sharp purple core in the same cubic shape. Very aesthetic, and very reminiscent of the famous zoned Fluorites from Auglaize, Ohio. Really, a super mini from Erongo. Even better in person.
