Item Description

For all the Fluorite specimens that have come out of China, this A rather attractive Fluorite specimen hosting sharp, WATER-CLEAR, (almost ice-like) lovely green color, slightly stacked, cubic crystals (with dodecahedral modifications) up to 5.8 cm on edge forming a great cabinet size display piece. The specimen displays very nicely from several angles, and just looks like a pool of liquid green in your hands. The faces of the crystals have excellent luster as well. Due to the incredible clarity of the crystals, the piece was rather difficult to photograph, but you can see straight through them to the slight underlying matrix. Were it not for a contact on the corner of the main crystal, the piece could easily be valued at $1500-$2000 retail. Lastly, it must be noted that the color of these crystals really stands out under fluorescent lighting as opposed to incandescent lighting, but the piece truly must be seen in person to appreciate it gemminess and elegant beauty.
