Item Description
Dalnegorsk is justifiably famous for its water-clear (invisible) Fluorites. Almost universally cubes, Fluorite octahedrons from this famous mine are rare and highly sought after. This octahedron is one of the best I have seen from Dalnegorsk. The main crystal is gemmy, most of the faces are lustrous, and you can easily see the oxide inclusions within the crystal. It is 2.2 cm on edge, and quite dramatic. The contact point is at the base of the crystal, so it is basically unseen. A rare Fluorite for it's habit and locality from 1990s finds. Quite attractive. valued $300
