Item Description
Truly colorful Arizona fluorites are not coming out from many places, nor in quantity. This mine produces some of the most beautiful! Pleasing Arizona Fluorite from the Homestake mine with the main crystal of a translucent mint green octahedral Fluorite measuring 2.6 cm across. The piece has frosted faces as is typically seen from this location. The main crystal sits at the apex of the specimen with a layer of intergrown Fluorite below all resting on matrix of white massive Quartz. A attractive Fluorite specimen with a good uniform green color and good balance. That crystal is 3 cm across! It is hard to believe this is not Russian or Peruvian! Shown under different lights, you can see some color change, as well, depending on the spectrum of light.
