China, more than arguably any other country, has produced a larger number of superb crystallized Fluorite specimens form more localities in a fairly short amount of time. Over the last 20 years or so, we've seen some truly beautiful Fluorites in a wide range of colors, styles and habits from all over China. Here we have a lovely gemmy group of crystallized Fluorite from Xinyang, Henan, China showing a beautifully alluring green color, free of matrix. When backlit, the color and transparency are quite evident. Looking closely, the surface of the specimen features hundreds of tiny cubic crystal faces, while the reverse side of the piece features a more "etched" appearance with a tiny bit of attached matrix. No major damage and really eye-catching. Mined circa 2015.
