Fluorite

Item Description

A beautiful group of the classic Fluorites from the Moscona Mine in Spain featuring a full coverage of sharp, well-formed, gemmy, rich golden colored cubes with a slight amount of color zoning, showing a thin darker golden hue around the edges. The crystals measure up to 1.1 cm on edge, which is larger than average for the locality. When backlit, they crystals glow with color. No major damage, only the periphery is rough where the piece was removed from the pocket wall. A choice example of these iconic Fluorites.
From the collection of Vasco Trancoso, a medical doctor and prominent mineral collector from near Lisbon, Portugal (https://www.mindat.org/user-11954.html).
