Item Description

An imposing 5.1 x 5.0 x 2.1 cm cuboctahedron dominates the crest of this very showy, rich emerald-green mounded fluorite small cabinet specimen. The large crystal aesthetically rests atop a dense cluster of smaller fluorites. The sharp trigons on many of the prism faces of the crystals adds real character. The high satin luster obscures the fact that these crystals are quite gemmy. A couple of areas on the large crystal are glass clear and reveal the transparent interior. Purple LW UV fluorescence. Better in person, with richer green color. The high satin luster made photography difficult. Classic and excellent Ruyuan fluorite crowned by a large cuboctahedron.
