Item Description
Densely intergrown, pretty light mint-green fluorite cubes with satin luster frosted faces form a rich and sculptural large specimen from this ancient extinct mine. The cubes reach 3.5 cm. Backlighting reveals the pretty mint-green color of the cubes. The mine was first worked for copper in the iron-and copper-bearing fluorite veins and later for fluorite, until its closing in the 1991 (MINDAT). Unusual and interesting light green with purple overtones LW UV fluorescence. Ex Chet Lemanski Collection No. 8796CL. Fluorite specimens of this richness, quality and color are uncommon from here. A very fine fluorite from the locale.
