Item Description

A graceful single crystal, mostly off matrix, of a sharp, transparent and colorless "ice" Fluorite cube from Dalnegorsk, Russia. Dalnegorsk is one of the few locations worldwide that is famous for these unique colorless or "pure" Fluorites, as chemical impurities cause coloration in Fluorite. The gemmy cube measures 4.6 cm by 3.6 cm. It is in excellent condition with only a few minor nicks along the edges and some contacting. These ice cube Fluorites are highly sought after and difficult to find, and date to the 1980s or early 1990s. This specimen has the added bonus of coming with its own custom display base already made.
