Item Description
The Jaimina Mine Fluorites are some of the most distinctive, eye-catching and beautifully crystallized examples from any Fluorite-producing locality in Spain. This specimen features wonderful, VERY gemmy (virtually water clear in areas) purple colored (more blue in sunlight) cubic crystals of Fluorite with notable tetrahexahedral modifications on the edges measuring up to 2.6 cm on edge sitting on matrix. The piece is in great shape overall, with no major damage, only superficial roughness around the periphery where the piece was removed from the pocket wall. The crystals are really gemmy and they were incredibly difficult to photograph, and honestly the piece looks better in person. A very worthwhile and attractive Fluorite specimen from this well known Fluorite producing district. Priced at $3,500 retail.
