Item Description

Charming vertical pocket filled with lustrous, translucent, light purple Fluorite cubes up to 1.3 cm in size. The cubes rest on a carpet of drusy microcrystalline Quartz with contrasting areas of reddish brown Hematite staining that is both on the Quartz and Fluorite. The faces of the Fluorite cubes exhibit an interesting flattened low-profile stepped growth. This textural overprint gives the Fluorite cubes a natural wet look and when combined with the highly translucency, the cubes just glow! While the piece does have several bumps and bruises, my vision is captured by the glowing textured Fluorites running up the right side. It is definitely an unusual Fluorite specimen from this area.
