Here we have a beautiful small cabinet specimen of these classic Fluorites from the Huanggang Mine. This piece features a group of sharp, well-formed, GEMMY, pale purple octahedral crystal of Fluorite sitting on matrix. The largest Fluorite measures 3.9 cm on edge. You can see dodecahedral modifications on the edges of the Fluorite crystals, which gives the piece character. The piece is incredibly showy and aesthetic and displays wonderfully as you can see from the photos. No major damage that I can see to the front of the central crystals, but it is contacted (though beautifully trimmed) along the periphery where it was separated from the pocket wall.
