Item Description

These are a unique aesthetic for the collector of fluorite crystals, immediately recognizable in a world of fluorites. Multiple intergrown cubes of translucent to transparent lustrous light lavender Fluorite with very thin purple zoning on the edges. Musquiz Fluorites are classic, and most like this came out in the 1980s or earlier, known for having stepped faces and this piece is exceptional for this feature. It is stepped faces on steroids that not only adds to the visual complexity but also creates a mesmerizing allure. The largest compound cube is 6.3 x 5.4 cm. There are some minor nicks on a few faces with contacting on the right side, but relatively trivial. It displays nicely and really sparkles in light, from all the angled reflections. This historic Mexican piece is a highly desirable addition to any Fluorite collection. Ex. Kurt Hefendehl.
