The Moscona Mine in Spain for years has been providing collectors with fine quality, showy and colorful display specimens of Fluorite. Like most of the Fluorite-producing mines in Asturias, the habit of these crystals is cubic, and these classics are easy to recognize for their wonderful form and eye-catching color. This cabinet specimen is filled with dozens of sharp, lustrous, gemmy, golden colored cubic crystals of Fluorite measuring up to 6 mm on edge on Quartz matrix. There are tiny metallic golden Marcasite crystals embedded or slightly under the surface of multiple Fluorites for a nice touch. No major damage that I can find on the top/display side of the piece. When the Fluorites are backlit, you can see right through some of them, as they are virtually water clear! A very attractive and excellent example of these well-known Fluorites.
