Item Description

The Naica Mine in Mexico is world famous because it's best known around the world as the home of the famous "Cave of Swords", a giant series of caverns hosts the most exemplary Gypsum crystals in the world. Gypsum aside, this mine has produced superb examples of many species including some truly iconic Fluorites. This large miniature / small cabinet sized specimen features several sharp, gemmy, very pale green (virtually colorless) crystals of Fluorite measuring up to 2.5 cm on edge which are associated with minor white scalenohedral Calcite on black Sphalerite matrix. The Fluorite crystals are in very good condition, with no major damage that I can find on the front/display side. Very good quality and quite showy, better in person than the video might indicate.
