Item Description

Gemmy and lustrous, citrine-yellow fluorite cubes, to 9 mm, totally cover the sculptural, mounded small cabinet specimen from the less well-known, but classic fluorite mines of the area, near Cordoba, Spain. The yellow hue of the cubes compare with those from the famous Hilton Mine of England or German Erzgebirge pieces. Essentially pristine, for all the crystal density, except for the acceptable periphery wear. Every rotation presents a different aspect to this very rich piece. Purple fluorescence. Older material from the Chet Lemanski Collection No. 0657CL and acquired in 1989.
