Item Description
This piece was mined in early 2017. We picked up a parcel of these attractive and interesting Fluorites from a good friend in Pakistan who tells us that they were coming from Balochistan, which is probably best known for it's beautiful fiery "Alpine-type" Brookite specimens. This is certainly not what one would expect from this area, but I have seen a few specimens in the hands of other Pakistani dealers, and they all say they're coming from Balochistan. This attractive small cabinet display specimen features sharp, "built up" cubes with an interesting color that is slightly lilac, slightly golden and slightly smoky depending upon the temperature of the light in which its viewed. Overall, the piece is in great condition, and really looks better in person. If you're a Fluorite collector, don't miss out on this one, as few are available these days from this locality.
