Item Description
Fluorellestadite is a rare silicate of the Apatite Supergroup. A large 1.5 cm crystal of the yellow fluorine-rich species is set with numerous smaller crystals in beautiful blue calcite. These are common enough as microcrystalline material from this locality, but few crystals of such size (and in good condition) are found. Quite exceptional for the species. Purple fluorescence for the calcite. Valued at $350.
