Fluorapophyllite with Stilbite

From a fairly uniquely styled January 2014 pocket, these Indian apophyllites stand out from the crowd of so many others: Two, fine, large, nearly equant, lustrous and translucent, green fluorapophyllite crystals to 5.5 cm across are wreathed by lustrous, ivory colored stilbite crystals, to 5 cm across. This is an extremely dramatic and sculptural specimen with great luster. These crystals are, unusually, a more intense green color when viewed side-on (and those sides are extremely sharp and lustrous!) In person, it is a uniquely pretty association with sparkle, luster, color that set this pocket apart from so many others. To this day, they are memorable to our eyes. One of the last remaining pieces we bought back when they came out, now up for auction.
